It’s time to tighten up those sandals and get your act together — because following Jesus isn’t a game of “Marco Polo” where you wander around hoping to bump into Him. In this high-speed, no-seatbelt series, we’re checking the rearview mirrors of Zacchaeus (tiny dude, huge faith jump), Mary & Martha (the original reality show sisters), Judas Iscariot (spoiler alert: don’t be that guy), and John the Baptist (the guy who baptized first and asked questions never). We’ll figure out what they did right, what they royally messed up, and how you and I can actually stick close to Jesus without needing GPS or making headlines for the wrong reasons. So, buckle up, buttercup. Maybe you should follow Jesus THIS close. Closer than your Uber driver. Closer than your dog when you’re holding bacon. Closer than you are to losing your salvation over rush hour traffic. Closer than... well, you get it.
