Nobody's perfect...we have all heard it a thousand times. But do you believe it?? Do you believe that not one of us humans is capable of perfection. Often times we find ourselves feeling down, depressed, angry, inadequate, because, unfortunately there are those people who think that even though no one is perfect, they are, or at least they are the closest thing to it.
Here at Abundant Life Church, we have a strict "No Perfect People" view. What does that mean you ask, well let me share...
You see, we do not use perfection as a measure for anyone who comes through our doors. In fact, we don't measure you at all. We want you to know that you can come here and find rest, find hope, find the love that can only be found when a bunch of imperfect people get together to celebrate the fact that while we are not perfect, we know someone who is. And it is because of the one perfect person we know that we have hope that springs eternal, even in the midst of our messes.
Yes, we are a church, and Yes, we do worship Jesus Christ...but not so we can tell you what you are doing wrong, we want to show you the endless love that can make all things right.
Jesus Christ loves you, and he loves you so much, that was willing to come and meet us where we are, so that we don't have to stay there.
